Welcome

This blog was created in order for me to brag about my perfect son. :) A lot of friends and family members are not close enough to see Tyson everyday so I update this blog every few days [if not more] in order for all of you to "watch" him grow and keep up with his learning and accomplishments. Hope you enjoy!!

Your 2 Year Old

Two-year-olds give the biggest hugs, flash the biggest smiles, and yes, throw the loudest, most spectacular tantrums. Because they live in the moment, their feelings are especially transparent. It's tempting to want to keep things happy for your child at all times. But it's also important for her to experience emotions like sadness, frustration, and anger without always being "rescued" by Mom or Dad, so she can learn to cope better with small setbacks.

Trick or Treat

So although this halloween wasn't Tyson's first, it was the first time he could actually walk and trick or treat. We had 2 parties this day. One with his playgroup friends in Sherman Oaks and one with his grandma's friends in Calabasas. Luckily they were at different times so he could go to both. How popular he is. We only got to stop by the one in Sherman Oaks for an hour before we had to leave so he only had time to play with this friends for a little bit. We went to Calabasas and he had some mroe friends to play with and tons of food to eat. His favorite was the pizza. It was an adult adn kids party so there were a lot of both. We ended up going trick or treating around 6:30pm and he walked up to a few doors but he was pretty timid t he entire time. Most of the doors we had to hold him but he was getting pretty good at taking the candy adn putting it in his basket. We didnt go to many houses though but it was a very nice neighborhood and we soon got word that Britney Spears was in the area. She lives in the community we were in. When we were back at the house where the party was Travis Barker [from Blink 182] and Britney [as in Spears]came to the house. CRAZY! When we went outside to leave at like 8:30pm there were so many kids out trick or treating. Specifically on the street we were on. I'm thinking mainly due to the celebrity buzz on the streets. It was kinda wierd for that many people to be out at that time. Tyson was soooo tired that we ended up just going home around then. Of course when we got home though He was wide awake throwing candy around everywhere.
I was hoping this halloween Ty would have been a little more into it and excited but he's a timid guy so he has to get used to it. Come next year though he'll be so ready I cant wait. I'm glad I get to enjoy trick or treating again. :)
