Welcome

This blog was created in order for me to brag about my perfect son. :) A lot of friends and family members are not close enough to see Tyson everyday so I update this blog every few days [if not more] in order for all of you to "watch" him grow and keep up with his learning and accomplishments. Hope you enjoy!!

Your 2 Year Old

Two-year-olds give the biggest hugs, flash the biggest smiles, and yes, throw the loudest, most spectacular tantrums. Because they live in the moment, their feelings are especially transparent. It's tempting to want to keep things happy for your child at all times. But it's also important for her to experience emotions like sadness, frustration, and anger without always being "rescued" by Mom or Dad, so she can learn to cope better with small setbacks.

Laguna Beach

So a few weeks ago my friend Chelsea was visiting in San Diego and we decided we would meet up half way for the day to hang out. We ended up meeting in Laguna Beach and it was probably one of the most relaxing days of my summer. First of all Laguna Beach is one of the cutest little beach towns ever. It is just so nice and peaceful.

Chelsea and I love driving around and just looking at big nice homes. I dunno, maybe its just the dream of knowing one day i'd like to live in one. So the first thing we did when we met up was drive around the hills sight seeing and house watching. Everytime we'd stop at a viewpoint we would whip out our SLR cameras and take pictures. We of course tried to find Lauren Conrad's parent's house but with no direction we really didnt know where to look. Chelsea thought she saw it from Pacific Coast Highway so she took a picture and of course when she got home she looked it up and it was indeed her house. Crazy!

On our way down the hill we saw these deer on the side of the road so we stopped to have a photoshoot with them. Zoom lenses can come in quite handy for this type of work. They stayed for a long time but then they had to leave. We then headed to the beach and stayed for about an hour. Had to load Tyson up on the sunscreen because we didnt have any umbrellas or coverings. This was one of the first times I have been to a beach where it was actually 100 degrees. Usually beaches are cooler but this was one hot day. We even saw some dolphins swimming. Another good thing we had zoom lenses. Mind you, this was one of the presttiest beaches I have ever been to. The water seemed so blue and the sand so light and clean. I got a lot of good pictures to post to my other blog. After this we went to this nice little sandwich shop on PCH and got Tyson the Biggest Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich I have ever seen. It was ooozing out Jelly. We then headed to this restaurant above the beach and had dessert and a drink. You could see the coast. It was just so relaxing.

We ended up leaving not too long before sunset so I decided to take PCH all the way back to Long Beach hoping to be able to stop and take a nice sunset picture with the beach but was already in town when the sun was setting so my sunset picture didnt turn out like I planned. I then stopped a friends house in Long Beach and Tyson and I stayed for dinner. Finally we got home at 10:00pm which gave us a pretty long day considering I woke up at 6:30am

I'm sad its now getting cold outside because I definately would like to go stay a weekend in Laguna Beach. Hopefully we'll get a few more sunny weekends before my chances are too slim.
